46 yr old female came in limping due to plantar fasciitis on the right. She had been treated with a cortisone injection about 2 weeks ago. The effects of the drug wore off 2 days ago, and she had been in terrible pain ever since.

I palpated her left hand, but no ashi points were apparent. Next, I palpated her left deltoid region, and ashi points were very reactive.

I added An Mian 5* to relax her.

She felt an immediate difference and the pain dropped from a 9/10 to a 2/10, and she left walking normally, without a limp.

The patient was treated twice a week for 5 weeks.
